HVAC- Laboratory Technician I

Scope of Position:
Works under the direction and supervision of the Laboratory Manager in support of new product development and existing product improvement projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Configures test stations and prepare product for internal testing (includes water, drain, fuel, vent and electrical connections)
- Ascertains gauge and instrument calibration status
- Maintains orderly work environment
- Adheres to laboratory safety policies
- Performs other similar or related duties as required or requested
Position Requirements:
The Laboratory Technician I must possess the minimum knowledge listed below:
- High School diploma
- Basic mechanical aptitude and a fundamental understanding of electrical circuits and basic safety devices
- Ability to work flexible hours based on workload, projects, changes in schedules etc.
- Have reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to use computer software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Must also be creative, flexible and an innovative team player
