A well-established luxury automotive dealership in the Columbia market is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department. As Service Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations, mentor a skilled team of service advisors and technicians, and ensure an exceptional ownership experience for every customer who visits our service drive.
Responsibilities - Service Manager:
- Lead, train, and support service advisors, technicians, and support staff
- Manage daily service department operations to ensure efficiency and profitability
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics including CSI, productivity, and revenue
- Foster strong customer relationships and handle escalated concerns with professionalism
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements and dealership policies
- Collaborate with senior leadership on goals, strategies, and long-term growth
Qualifications/Requirements - Service Manager:
- Service Management experience at a franchise dealership
- Lead by example and bring out the best in your team
- Know how to balance efficiency with quality and customer care
- Understand flat rate systems, workflow management, and technician motivation
- Are confident with DMS tools (CDK, Reynolds, etc.) and OEM platforms
- Communicate clearly and handle challenges with a calm, solutions-first mindset
- Valid driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
- Must pass pre-employment screening
