**This position is eligible for a Sign-On Bonus of up to $20,000**

Responsibilities:

  • Administers contrast media per protocol under proceduralist supervision.
  • Performs accurate patient positioning and radiographic techniques for interventional procedures.
  • Prepares patients, operates equipment, and monitors systems with full procedural understanding.
  • Verifies patient identity using two identifiers and follows universal safety protocols.
  • Reviews patient history and physician orders to apply appropriate imaging protocols.
  • Accurately documents patient history in the electronic medical record.
  • Maintains aseptic technique and ensures patient safety through time-out procedures.
  • Communicates instructions and procedure details clearly to patients to reduce anxiety and gain cooperation.
  • Ensures proper exam coding, image archiving, and charge entry in RIS and ISITE systems.
  • Collaborates effectively with patients and staff, supporting general radiographic procedures as needed.

Schedule: This position will primarily work Monday-Friday, with rotating, 8-hour shifts of 6AM-2:30PM; 6:30AM-3PM, and 7AM-3:30PMThis position will require the employee to work on-call with a 30-minute response time. May be subject to work other days/shifts based on hospital needs. 

Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or an accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required within 30 days of hire/transfer. 
  • ACLS required within 12 months of hire/transfer.
  • ARRT Certificate OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

     

  • Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
  • Act 33 with renewal
  • Act 34 with renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
