ChristianaCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Float Pool within our Center for Heart & Vascular Health. This role supports both the HVIS Prep & Hold Unit and the Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Lab, providing high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple cardiac service lines.

HVIS Prep & Hold Unit

The HVIS Prep & Hold Unit is a 36-bed preparation and recovery area serving both inpatient and outpatient populations. Patients in this unit are cared for before and after procedures performed in:

  • Cardiac Catheterization Labs

  • Electrophysiology Labs

  • Vascular Interventional Radiology Labs

  • Elective electrical cardioversions

In this fast-paced environment, RNs play a critical role in patient preparation, monitoring, recovery, and education.

Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Lab

The Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Lab provides advanced diagnostic testing and imaging to evaluate and diagnose heart and vascular conditions, primarily on an outpatient basis. Services include:

  • Echocardiograms

  • Exercise stress testing (nuclear, PET, and stress echo)

  • Cardiac CT

  • Holter and loop monitor testing

  • Peripheral vascular ultrasound

  • Bedside electrical cardioversions

As part of the float pool, the RN will demonstrate flexibility, strong clinical judgment, and expertise in cardiac care while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years from your date of hire.
  • Must have at least three years of nursing experience required
  • Must have at least three years of nursing experience in Procedural & Recovery settings required
  • BLS required
  • ACLS required
  • Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware required

    Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05

    This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
