Starting Hourly Rate $31.90 USD per hour. You may also earn additional compensation in the form of a shift differential, ranging from $2.00 to $3.50 per hour, based on eligibility.

As a Truck Driver (OTR), you will drive and operate tractors/trailers, over the road, in a safe and efficient manner while making store delivery and/or vendor pick-ups.  You must be able to skillfully back up trailers into all types of dock and yard locations as well as hooking and unhooking trailers.  You will complete logs, trip reports, bills of lading, etc. as required by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Target.  This work will also require a focus on safety procedures and protocols and will perform routine safety inspections of vehicles.  It is also vital to complete job tasks assigned accurately and on time to deliver on our promises to Target vendors and guests.

About you:  

  • Maintains positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment 
  • Able to lift and carry materials/equipment up to 30 lbs frequently and able to lift and carry equipment up to 60 lbs infrequently
  • Able to work independently to quickly and safely resolve problems 
  • Understand the functions of tractors and trailers and their systems, with the specific ability to complete pre and post-trip inspections, including brakes
  • Able to work in all types of weather conditions
  • Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or ability to obtain
  • Able to pass all of the Department of Transportation (DOT) tests and screening process
  • Knowledge of and compliance with all applicable DOT regulations
