Overview
We are hiring a Pre-Construction Estimator / Manager to lead conceptual estimating and bid coordination across a national footprint. This is a backfill for a key role focused on subcontractor engagement and driving bid coverage.
 
Responsibilities
  • Develop conceptual estimates from partial drawings

  • Manage bid books and coordinate bid process

  • Conduct subcontractor outreach to confirm participation

  • Source new vendors through referrals and networks

  • Ensure bid coverage across all 48 states

  • Oversee a small team (1 local, 1 remote)

  • Improve and standardize pre-con processes

 

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in construction estimating or pre-construction

  • Exposure to conceptual estimating

  • Strong subcontractor engagement / bid coordination experience

  • Comfortable with phone outreach and vendor communication

  • Ability to work across multiple regions

  • Prior leadership experience preferred
