Overview
We are seeking a skilled Validation & Testing Technician III to support the development, integration, and testing of advanced aircraft subsystems within a lab environment. This role is hands-on and focused on building, modifying, and troubleshooting electrical systems used for validation and performance testing. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and experience working in high-quality, safety-driven engineering environments.
Responsibilities
Support the build and setup of aircraft subsystem integration and test labs
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical symbols
Repair, replace, and install aircraft subsystem components in a lab environment
Fabricate, assemble, and test wiring harnesses for validation, debugging, and testing purposes
Perform ring-out, continuity, and functional testing of electrical systems
Assist in troubleshooting subsystem integration and performance issues
Maintain accurate documentation for lab modifications, repairs, and equipment upgrades
Inspect work completed by other technicians to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
Follow strict safety, cleanliness, and quality standards in all lab and testing activities
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in aviation, aerospace, or a similar technical industry
Strong understanding of avionics systems and aircraft subsystems operation and troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with wire cutting, splicing, crimping, and wiring harness fabrication
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
High attention to detail with strong commitment to quality and precision work
Ability to safely install, replace, and validate subsystem components in a lab environment
Strong safety mindset and adherence to engineering and lab protocols
