Quick Apply
Who We Are:
TRC Talent Solutions is proud to partner with a highly stable, premier system operations organization in Tucker, GA. We are seeking top-tier technical talent to join their enterprise-level environment—a team dedicated to modernizing digital workspaces, automating legacy workflows, and building scalable, secure M365 solutions.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly technical Senior SharePoint Engineer to build, integrate, and modernize our client's enterprise digital workplace. This is a hands-on, coding-intensive role designed for a problem-solver who can navigate across different platforms and build custom solutions. While you don't need to be a top-level architect, you must have strong programming fundamentals and an eagerness to master the full suite of M365 tools, including Loop, Planner, and advanced Teams capabilities.
You will be stepping into an environment where technical excellence is celebrated—acting as the internal expert to build scalable integrations, automate legacy workflows, and drive M365 adoption forward.
What You Will Do:
Custom Development & Integrations: Build custom web parts and business applications using SPFx, React, Angular, and .NET (C#, ASP.NET).
Platform Problem Solving: Act as a highly technical resource capable of solving complex challenges across varied platforms and third-party APIs.
Teams Optimization: Design and implement Teams apps, bots, and complex integrations to maximize channels, meetings, and platform additions.
Workflow Modernization: Migrate legacy InfoPath forms and Nintex workflows to Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
Continuous Learning: Actively explore and integrate emerging M365 capabilities, specifically diving deep into Microsoft Loop, Planner, and Copilot.
Scripting & Automation: Develop complex PowerShell scripts for environment automation, migration, and management.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on development experience with SharePoint (Online/On-Prem) and the M365 ecosystem.
Strong Programming Skills: Deep technical proficiency in the SharePoint Framework (SPFx), C#, ASP.NET, and front-end frameworks (React/Angular).
Integration Expertise: Proven track record of integrating SharePoint and M365 with Azure services, Teams, and third-party APIs.
Technical Agility: A "vendor-like" execution mindset—you can parachute into a problem, figure out the underlying technical requirements, and write the code to fix it.
Communication: Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable partnering with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical reality.
5 Questions You Should Ask During the Interview
Here are 5 questions we think you could ask during your interview. Use them as a guide to help you write your own questions.
Remember: Always have at least 5 questions prepared for the interview. If you do not, you run the risk of looking unprepared.
What does success look like in this role, and how is it measured?
Why ask this? You want to ensure you have a clear understanding of expectations before accepting the role. Knowing how success is measured helps you hit the ground running and avoid surprises about performance evaluations. It also signals to the employer that you're results-driven.
Can you describe the team dynamic and the company culture?
Why ask this? Skills and experience matter, but if the work environment isn’t a good fit, you won’t be happy or productive. This question helps you gauge whether the company values collaboration, how teams interact, and whether the culture aligns with your work style and values.
What are the biggest challenges facing the person in this role right now?
Why ask this? Every job has challenges, and it’s better to know them upfront. This helps you assess whether the role is a good fit for your strengths and whether the company is realistic about its expectations. If they hesitate to answer, it could be a red flag.
How does the company support work-life balance and employee well-being??
Why ask this? Burnout is real, and some companies expect employees to sacrifice personal time for the job. By asking this, you’ll get a sense of how they value work-life balance, flexibility, and well-being—things that are crucial for job satisfaction and long-term success.
These questions help you make an informed decision while also showing your professionalism and strategic thinking!
