The following duties are unique to this position:
- Review all associates production, waste and quality on a timely basis and take corrective action as deemed necessary.
- Ensure· all company procedures and guidelines are adhered to and administered in a fair and consistent manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment that is conducive to employee development and job satisfaction.
- Complete employee performance review
- Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and that equipment repairs are scheduled
- Monitor work flow to ensure delivery dates are met and anticipate potential problems in advance.
- Address all employees concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate all vacations and absences to ensure production requirements are still met.
- Ensure all employees' time cards are properly prepared and accurate.
- Record absences and tardiness and take action as guideline dictates.
- Accurately document all shipped orders and supply data
- Previous experience in printing industry
- Previous experience operating bindery and/or Collator machines
- Experience with leading a team in a professional environment
- Ability to mechanically troubleshoot basic issues
- Ability to use hands tools, gauges, and quality control equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand 8 – 12 hours a day.
- Basic mathematical understanding (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, fractions, ratios, etc)
