Job Summary

The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible for leading all EHS functions within a manufacturing facility, ensuring full regulatory compliance while promoting a culture centered on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. This role partners closely with operations to minimize risk, drive safety performance, and implement best practices across the site.

This position will also play a critical role in the construction and commissioning of a mid-sized North American manufacturing facility (6–9 months). The EHS Manager will establish and execute safety programs, policies, and procedures to support a safe, compliant, and efficient project environment from startup through full operation.


Requirements

  • On-site presence is required throughout both construction and operational phases.

  • Ability to work in diverse environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, with exposure to varying weather conditions and terrain.


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Safety, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum of 5 years of EHS leadership experience within manufacturing and/or industrial construction environments.

  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance standards.

  • CSP (Certified Safety Professional) certification preferred.

  • Strong ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
