Electrical Service Technician
Location: Positions available in Jacksonville, FL & Naples, FL
Pay: Starting at $32/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Position Summary
TRC Talent Solutions is seeking experienced Electrical Service Technicians for openings in Jacksonville and Naples, Florida. In this role, you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment in the field. This position requires strong diagnostic skills, the ability to respond to service calls, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems and equipment
Respond to service calls in a fast-paced field environment
Perform preventative maintenance and equipment upgrades
Provide emergency on-call service as needed
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications, and technical documents
Document work performed, materials used, expenses, and customer interactions
Educate customers on electrical system operation, maintenance, and safety practices
Identify and report potential electrical system design concerns
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in residential, commercial, and service electrical work or equivalent experience
Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program preferred
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable building codes
Experience using hand tools, power tools, testing instruments, and soldering equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, procedures, and safety documents
Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, multiplication, and division
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
