TRC Talent Solutions is looking for a Vendor Relations Specialist for our client located in College Park, GA! 

 

Job Summary: We are looking for individuals who possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to build positive relationships with our vendors. You should have a keen analytical mindset to assess vendor performance and market conditions effectively. Your negotiation skills will be essential in crafting agreements that benefit all parties involved. Additionally, the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams will be key to your success in this role.

  • Monday-Friday 8am-5pm 
  • Direct Hire 
  • Salary: $75,000-$85,000


Roles and Responsibilities: 
As a Vendor Relations Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing and enhancing our relationships with vendors. Your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with vendors to ensure mutual understanding of expectations and deliverables.
- Evaluating vendor performance and quotes and providing constructive feedback to drive improvements.
- Negotiating contracts and terms to establish favorable conditions for both parties.
- Coordinating with internal teams to align vendor services with our organizational goals.
- Monitoring market trends to identify potential new vendors and opportunities for cost savings.
- Resolving any issues or disputes with vendors in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintaining accurate records of vendor communications, pricing schedules, and transactions
- Lead or support negotiations for pricing, volume discounts, payment terms, and contract renewals
- Work with legal and finance to review vendor contracts and service agreements


Requirements: 
- Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in vendor management, buyer role, or related field preferred 
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
-Demonstrated experience negotiating pricing and contract terms
-Comfortability with handling vendor-facing discussions 
-Effective written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills 
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret cost and performance data 
-Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement/ERP systems
