Service Technician
 

Location: Nashville, TN
Pay: Starting at $30.87 + ability to earn up to $2,500 in quarterly bonuses 
Shift: 8 AM – 5 PM Monday - Friday (OT as needed. Must be willing to participate in on-call rotation)

We're looking for a skilled Service Technician II to help maintain high-quality homes and deliver outstanding service to residents. If you have experience in residential maintenance, enjoy solving problems, and take pride in your work, this is an opportunity to join a team where your expertise is valued.

 

What You'll Do
• Complete resident service requests and maintenance work orders in a timely, professional manner
• Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, painting, and general home maintenance
• Perform preventative maintenance and property inspections to identify and address potential issues 
• Ensure all work meets company standards, safety requirements, and applicable building codes
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with residents and team members
• Identify and report safety hazards or property concerns

 

What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in residential maintenance, construction, remodeling, or related trades
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and general home repairs
• EPA Section 608 Type II or Universal Certification required
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and ability to pass MVR check
• Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and preventative maintenance practices
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, prioritize workload, and work independently
•    Ability to operate a tablet for work orders and data input in field

 

Preferred Qualifications
• Trade school education or vocational training
• Single-family or multi-family property maintenance experience
• Experience with drywall, painting, roofing, HVAC, electrical, or plumbing repairs
• Background in property management, renovation, or construction

 

Physical & Work Environment
• Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Frequent walking, climbing, bending, lifting, and carrying materials and equipment
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with or without assistance
• Participation in on-call, evening, and weekend rotations as needed
• Daily travel within the local market using a company-provided vehicle
