Registered Nurse – PRN
Mercy Clinic Spine & Pain Management – Southfork

Schedule: PRN (as-needed coverage; day shift clinic hours)
What You’ll Do
As a PRN RN in our Spine & Pain Management clinic, you’ll provide flexible, as-needed support to help care for patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. Your role is essential in maintaining clinic flow and delivering high-quality care during peak times and staff coverage needs.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while involving patients and families in treatment decisions
- Perform focused assessments, triage symptoms, and support ongoing evaluation of spine and pain-related conditions
- Assist with clinic operations, including patient preparation, admissions, discharges, and post-procedure care
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the care team to support treatment plans (including injections and interventional procedures)
- Communicate changes in patient condition promptly and follow appropriate escalation pathways
- Provide clear patient education on medications, procedures, recovery expectations, and pain management strategies
- Accurately document care, interventions, and education in the electronic medical record
- Support efficient clinic flow by prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing needs

What We’re Looking For
- Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced outpatient setting
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- A dependable, team-oriented approach with a focus on quality care
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Licensure: Active RN license in the state of practice
- Experience: 1+ year of nursing experience preferred (outpatient, orthopedics, procedural, or pain management experience a plus)
- Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire
Additional Details
- PRN role intended to support coverage for PTO, volume fluctuations, and clinic needs
- Hours are not guaranteed and will vary based on department needs
