🔍 Role Overview
Perform radiographic procedures at a technical level without constant supervision. Assume responsibility for procedures performed and related duties as assigned.
✅ Qualifications
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
- ARRT registry or registry eligible (must achieve within 6 months of hire)
- Understanding of basic anatomy
- Ability to lift, move, and transport patients
Preferred:
- State licensure (required in Arkansas)
- Proficiency in radiographic equipment & processors
📚 Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Technical skill in radiologic procedures
- Understanding of basic anatomy
- Ability to:
- Manipulate x-ray equipment (including mobile units)
- Carry cassettes & select exposure factors
- Evaluate radiographs
- Lift, move & transport patients
- Stand & walk for extended periods
- Recognize emergencies & adapt to stress
- Communicate effectively
