The Opportunity:
Saint Luke's South in Overland Park, KS is seeking a PRN Pre-OP/PACU RN to join their Perianesthesia team. In this position, you will provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients undergoing procedures within the Main OR and hospital-based GI suites.
Shift Details:
FT Day Position 8 am until 6:30 pm Monday - Friday. This position takes call.
This is a tight knit collaborative team that supports each other and are willing to go above and beyond for their peers, our patients and their families. They are a customer focused team where patient experience is a top priority.
The Work:
- Provides pre-operative and post-operative care for inpatient and outpatient procedures.
- Utilizesthe nursing process
- Performspatient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff
- Coordinatesthe plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Demonstratesproficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures
Applicable Experience:
1 year
Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
