Overview
Accompanies the MRI Technologist during all MRI procedures by serving as the 2nd staff member in the MRI suite per ACR recommendations. Could assist with transport of patients, verifying orders with provider offices and radiologists, scheduling, turning over MRI suite, ordering and stocking supplies, calling patients to verify screening forms and lab work needed, completing paperwork, and other tasks as asked.
Qualifications
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
Work Experience: Patient Care experience required
Responsibilities
.Accompanies and assists the MRI technologist with patient care and tasksPractices sterile techniques and prevents cross contamination. May have contact with blood and body fluid while assisting the technologist.Works under minimal supervision.Assists in transporting patients to and from the MRI department.Maintains annual competency assessment for skills needed to perform this job.Assists the technologist in putting patient notes in EPIC, RIS, and PACS.Assists the technologist in sending and documenting imaging and notes via multiple on-line resources.Responsible for cleaning all equipment in the department.Performs all other duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $20.02per hour - $32.43per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
