Description:

As a Pharmacy Partner Coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for our external pharmacy partners and will be responsible for maintaining effective communication regarding daily billing and operational inquiries to ensure shipment processing times are in accordance with company standards. You will also be responsible for managing the investigation, reporting, and patient communication for claims of potential incidents.
Location: This is a fully onsite opportunity based out of our Robinson Township, PA (Pittsburgh).

Hours: Set 8 hour shift between 8:00am-8:00pm; Possibility of Saturdays from 9:00am-5:00pm
Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of internal processing and shipping related escalations and needs, including but not limited to:
  • Respond to internal shipping escalations promptly (expedited shipping requests, reshipments, etc.)
  • Identify orders pending shipment on a daily basis with appropriate follow up and resolution
  • Document all pertinent information and data discovery according to operating procedures
  • Collaborate with pharmacist team to resolve billing, clinical and inventory inquiries received from external pharmacy partners
  • Solve complex escalations that arise from other operational departments to ensure orders continue progressing as expected
  • Collaborate internally with multiple departments to ensure operational inefficiencies and/or potential issues are identified and escalated
  • Act as intermediary for external pharmacy shipping partners:
  • Provide routing information and shipping instructions to external pharmacy partners to ensure deliveries arrive on time and at the correct location
  • Confirm routing and shipping information for all mail deliveries, keeping a meticulous record of shipments, including confirmation of delivery
  • Resolve issues that may prohibit a shipment from progressing as expected
  • Manage all aspects of internal claims of potential incidents, including but not limited to:
  • Monitor and manage open patient and pharmacy-reported incidents quickly and decisively
  • Report required incidents in Healthicity
  • Work to improve the logistics process by identifying areas of opportunity which include, increasing efficiency and developing innovative solutions for logistical issues
  • Review daily reporting to ensure the business is on target to meet and exceed outcomes
  • Perform all tasks in a safe and compliant manner that is consistent with corporate policies as well as state and federal laws
Requirements:
  • At least three years of pharmacy experience with demonstrated success in resolving third-party claims.
  • High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical thinking, sound judgment, and a solid operational mindset.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within team and cross-functionally
  • Advanced technical aptitude with the capacity to quickly learn and adapt to complex software systems.
  • Experience with Google Suite
  • Experience mentoring or informally training other employees is a plus
  • Qualities for PPC that the Hiring Manager is looking for:
