Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design, build, and test of space-based electronics for multiple projects.
  • Use simulation tools, such as Spice, to test and validate designs and make necessary adjustments.
  • Design and layout PCBs, utilizing your experience with Altium.
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to manufacturing and support.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and departments to ensure the successful integration of the electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the design, development, or testing stages.
  • Prepare and present reports, providing updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in PCB design, simulation experience with a Spice based tool, circuit design, and experience with Altium.
  • Some experience with either microcontrollers, FPGAs, or embedded processors.
  • Full product lifecycle development experience.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Experience with aerospace or space products is a plus.
  • GaN FET experience a big plus!
  • Some C programming experience desired.
