We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-motivated Staff Accountant to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a proactive, solution-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Staff Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Preparation and review of journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
2. Analyzing and reviewing financial statements and reports, ensuring all calculations and data entries are correct.
3. Reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
4. Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operational audits.
5. Providing detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions, as well as collaborating with the accounting team to improve financial processes.
6. Consulting with clients to understand their accounting needs and to offer solutions.
7. Working closely with the team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and tax payments.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Consulting Staff Accountant position, candidates should possess the following:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3years of experience in accounting or related field, with a strong emphasis on journal entries and account reconciliation.
3. Proficiency in major accounting software packages for both general ledger and statutory accounting.
4. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects.
7. Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to provide useful and efficient financial information.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with and provide recommendations to clients and team members.
