Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical exams, and medical histories.
Diagnose and treat acute conditions such as respiratory infections, fractures, lacerations, sprains, and other urgent care concerns.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests including X-rays, EKGs, and laboratory studies.
Perform minor procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, wound care).
Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans based on clinical guidelines and patient needs.
Provide patient education and counseling on treatment options and preventive care.
Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and medical staff to ensure efficient and high-quality care.
Maintain thorough and accurate electronic health records (EHR).
Follow urgent care protocols and best practices to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
