Newly Magnet Designated with Distinction, Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida is seeking an experienced Pediatric/Neonatal Critical Care RN to join our highly specialized transport team.

In this role, you'll deliver life-saving care on the move, transporting critically ill infants and children while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to excellence in pediatric care.

What You'll Do

  • Provide advanced pediatric and neonatal critical care during ground transport only in Lee, Collier, Charlotte and DeSoto counties
  • Perform rapid assessment, stabilization, and intervention in high-acuity situations
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and EMS teams to ensure seamless care
  • Serve as a clinical leader, educator, and patient advocate in dynamic environments
  • Deliver care aligned with ANA standards and the Florida Nurse Practice Act
  • Support continuous improvement and deliver exceptional patient and family experiences

Requirements

Education Requirements:Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required. Associates orBachelors' preferred.

Experience Requirements:Experience required. Qualified individuals will successfully complete the competency assessment. Experience requirements may vary by department. Please reference the Nursing Addendums for department specific requirements.

Certification Requirements:Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. For units that require American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. Certification requirements may vary by department. Please reference the Nursing Addendums for department specific requirements.

License Requirements:Currently licensed in the State of Florida.

Other Requirements:Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required. Certification in specialty area preferred.
