Job Description

For over 30 years, TestLink has provided professional services and products for ATM service companies around the world. As part of the Brink's global network, we help ATM service providers reduce costs, improve performance, and increase reliability through innovative solutions such as ATM Parts Supply, Advance Exchange, and Inventory Management.

At TestLink, every employee plays a key role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. We offer a collaborative, growth-oriented culture where your technical skills and curiosity are valued-and where you'll be supported in developing your career in the electrical and mechanical repair field.

Hourly Rate: $17

Schedule: 8am-4:30pm M-F

About the Role

We're looking for motivated, hands-on individuals to join our growing team as Repair Depot Technicians. If you enjoy fixing things, solving problems, and working with electrical or mechanical components, this could be the perfect opportunity to launch or advance your technical career.

You don't need ATM experience to start-just curiosity, motivation, and a knack for repair or assembly. If you've ever repaired an appliance, built a PC, or put together furniture successfully, you already have the foundation to succeed here. We'll provide the training you need to become an expert in ATM component repair and testing.

What You'll Do

As a Repair Depot Technician, you'll work in our Cincinnati repair and refurbishment facility, where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for:

  • Disassembling, repairing, cleaning, testing, and reassembling electrical and mechanical components.
  • Diagnosing faults and conducting repairs at the component or module level.
  • Performing soldering and board-level work as needed.
  • Following quality control standards to ensure reliable performance of all serviced equipment.
  • Collaborating with team members to improve repair processes and efficiency.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of repairs and test results.

You'll have the opportunity to develop new skills such as fault diagnostics, testing, soldering, and component-level repair, with the chance to specialize as you grow within the company.

Who We're Looking For

This role is ideal for individuals who:

  • Enjoy hands-on, practical work and take pride in fixing or building things.
  • Have experience in electrical, electronic, or mechanical repair-or are eager to learn.
  • Possess attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and patience for troubleshooting.
  • Are comfortable using tools and testing equipment.
  • Are dependable, motivated, and enthusiastic about continuous learning.

Experience in electrical production, machine operation, or component repair is a plus. Prior ATM repair experience is not required-we'll train the right candidate.

5 Questions You Should Ask During the Interview

Here are 5 questions we think you could ask during your interview. Use them as a guide to help you write your own questions.

Remember: Always have at least 5 questions prepared for the interview. If you do not, you run the risk of looking unprepared.

What does success look like in this role, and how is it measured?

Why ask this? You want to ensure you have a clear understanding of expectations before accepting the role. Knowing how success is measured helps you hit the ground running and avoid surprises about performance evaluations. It also signals to the employer that you're results-driven.

Can you describe the team dynamic and the company culture?

Why ask this? Skills and experience matter, but if the work environment isn’t a good fit, you won’t be happy or productive. This question helps you gauge whether the company values collaboration, how teams interact, and whether the culture aligns with your work style and values.

What are the biggest challenges facing the person in this role right now?

Why ask this? Every job has challenges, and it’s better to know them upfront. This helps you assess whether the role is a good fit for your strengths and whether the company is realistic about its expectations. If they hesitate to answer, it could be a red flag.

How does the company support work-life balance and employee well-being??
