Job Purpose
- This role is designed to support enterprise reporting, analytics, dashboard development, data validation, and BI platform operations while growing into SAP BusinessObjects, SAP Data Services, Snowflake, Power BI, and related reporting technologies.
Key Accountabilities
- Reporting and Analytics
• Develop and maintain business reports, queries, and dashboards.
• Assist users with reporting requests and data analysis.
• Create and modify SAP BusinessObjects reports and universes.
• Support KPI reporting and operational metrics tracking.
• Validate report accuracy and data integrity before delivery. - Data and ETL Support
• Assist with ETL monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Support SAP Data Services job execution and maintenance.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation activities.
• Help maintain data warehouse structures and reporting datasets.
• Document data flows, report logic, and recurring support procedures. - Business Intelligence Platform Support
• Provide first-level support for BusinessObjects and reporting tools.
• Assist with user access requests and basic security administration.
• Support testing for upgrades, migrations, and system changes.
• Monitor scheduled reports, data loads, and reporting environments. - Dashboard Development
• Assist in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards.
• Create visualizations and data models for business users.
• Support requirements gathering for dashboards and reporting enhancements.
• Participate in analytics improvement initiatives and documentation updates. - Business Support
• Work with functional teams to understand reporting needs.
• Provide training and assistance to reporting consumers.
• Help maintain BI documentation, standards, and knowledge articles.
• Participate in projects involving reporting, data integration, and analytics deliverables.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Education:
- Preferably a Bachelors level degree in Information Systems / IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Analysis / Statistics, or a related STEM field of study. Equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience may be also considered
- Minimum work experience:
- Minimum 5 or more years of demonstrable information technology (IT) industry experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting and Data Analytics
- Experience in SAP BusinessObjects, SAP Data Services, Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, Salesforce Reporting, ETL processes, data warehousing, and enterprise application reporting is preferred.
- SQL querying
- Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerBI
- Data analytics, data visualization, reporting tools, relational databases, and data visualization concepts desired.
- Must have strong documentation skills, alongside IT project management principles.
- Business case analysis, strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Communication skills with strong written and presentation skills, and ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
Workstyle
- This is an onsite job. One remote workday per week may be possible with prior departmental approval.
