What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be hands-on in the field working on a mix of:

  • Running, terminating, and testing wiring (Cat6, coax, fiber, etc.)
  • Installing and servicing:
  • Fire alarm systems
  • CCTV / security systems
  • Access control
  • Low voltage electrical systems
  • Doors, gates, and related systems (location dependent)
  • Reading blueprints and schematics
  • Troubleshooting issues and getting systems back online
  • Testing panels and devices
  • Ensuring installs are clean, safe, and up to code
  • Communicating with customers on-site

What You Bring
2–3+ years (ideally more) of experience in:

  • Low voltage
  • Electrical
  • Fire alarm
  • Security systems
  • OR a similar hands-on trade
  • Ability to work independently and on a team
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools
  • Valid driver’s license

Bonus Points (Not Required)

  • Fire alarm experience (NICET is a plus)
  • Fiber or advanced wiring experience
  • Overhead door or gate system experience (especially in Ohio)
  • OSHA 10 or 30

Pay + Perks

  • $25–$35/hour (some locations up to $40/hour depending on experience)
  • Overtime:
  • 1.5x standard overtime
