Job Details

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Generate and identify prospective clients, key stakeholders, and decision-makers within target markets.
  • Develop and refine repeatable processes for researching and gathering information on target organizations and contacts.
  • Map stakeholder engagement points and buying processes to support sales outreach efforts.
  • Track new development projects and existing properties within designated target markets.
  • Monitor industry publications, business news, and other sources to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Create and maintain detailed prospect profiles to support business development activities.
  • Research competitors and maintain awareness of market trends and competitive positioning.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop effective lead generation channels.
  • Create and execute outbound prospecting and messaging campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing to optimize lead generation and conversion opportunities.
  • Assess and qualify leads based on established criteria and target profiles.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team.
  • Engage with prospective clients to introduce solutions and communicate value propositions.
  • Manage lead handoff processes to appropriate sales representatives.
  • Track and report on lead progression throughout the sales cycle.
  • Maintain databases of industry contacts, organizations, and geographic market information.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of inside sales, business development, or related experience.
  • 1–2 years of marketing experience or familiarity with marketing principles.
  • Knowledge of lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management processes.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative outreach strategies.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, sales tools, and Microsoft Office applications is a plus.
