We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Chiller Mechanic to join our dynamic team. This position requires a seasoned professional who is capable of installing, maintaining, and repairing chiller systems in commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the mechanical systems involved in the operation of chillers, including electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Chiller Mechanic, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Installing, maintaining, and repairing chiller systems in a variety of commercial and industrial settings.
2. Diagnosing and troubleshooting problems with chiller systems, including mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues.
3. Performing routine maintenance tasks on chiller systems to ensure they are operating at maximum efficiency.
4. Providing technical support and advice to clients and other team members.
5. Conducting regular inspections of chiller systems to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
6. Keeping accurate records of all maintenance and repair work carried out.
7. Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chiller Technician or Chiller Mechanic.
2. A thorough understanding of the mechanical systems involved in the operation of chillers, including electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently.
4. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and understandable manner.
5. A high level of physical fitness, as this role involves heavy lifting and working in confined spaces.
6. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different job sites as required.
