We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and result-oriented Sales Manager to join our team in the Commercial Furniture industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take responsibility for a thriving sales department and drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in prospecting, cold calling, territory management, outside sales, lead generation, and direct sales. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience working with dealers in the commercial furniture industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
2. Identify and target potential new customers, industries, and markets to increase sales.
3. Manage the sales team and all sales activities within the company, including setting sales goals, analyzing data on sales performance, and projecting future performance.
4. Utilize prospecting skills to identify potential clients, and cold calling techniques to generate new leads and business opportunities.
5. Implement effective territory management strategies to maximize sales in assigned regions.
6. Drive outside sales initiatives and represent the company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations to increase brand visibility.
7. Lead the generation of new sales opportunities and convert leads into profitable sales.
8. Conduct regular sales meetings to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and present possible solutions, and provide ongoing training to the sales team.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, industry leaders, and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
10. Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, and provide actionable insights.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in the furniture or design industry.
3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth in a business.
4. Exceptional skills in prospecting, cold calling, territory management, outside sales, lead generation, and direct sales.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
6. Strong analytical skills to understand market trends and sales data.
7. Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
8. Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
10. Ability to travel
11. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to overcome sales obstacles and challenges.
