Job Details

Assist with key accounting functions, including budgeting, financial forecasting, financial projections, and customer billing processes. Support the preparation of accounting records, financial information, and budget data for multiple affiliated entities. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation related to accounting transactions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and projection models by gathering information from internal departments, compiling data, updating financial models, and communicating budget-related information.
  • Support the preparation of recurring customer billing by coordinating with internal operational teams and external service providers. Collaborate with accounting staff and technology teams to maintain and improve billing processes and reporting tools.
  • Manage and reconcile inventory accounts, track and record fixed assets, and process reimbursement requests.
  • Participate in monthly accounting close activities and related financial processes.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and financial analyses.
  • Prepare schedules, analyses, and supporting documentation for annual audits, respond to auditor inquiries, and provide recommendations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.

Experience

  • Three to five years of progressively responsible accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using standard office equipment and business software.
  • Relevant education or additional experience may be considered in lieu of a portion of the stated experience requirements.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Solid understanding and application of accounting principles.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business software applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Strong grammar, spelling, and professional communication skills.
