Bachelor's degree or higher (healthcare or related field preferred)
ARDMS credentialed in AB & OB/GYN
2 years of clinical sonographer or radiographer experience in a healthcare facility
1 year experience teaching in an MA program

Job Details
This is a permanent full-time position for a Program Director - Diagnostic Medical Sonography Associate Degree program.
Schedule: M-F, 40-hours per week
Hours: 9a-5p (mix of hybrid, in-person, some remote)
Location: Dublin, OH
Salary: Pay is negotiable (based on candidates credentials, academic experience, practice experience, and degree)
Your performance responsibilities:
Oversees the structure and daily operation of the program, including organizations, administration, periodic review, and evaluation, continued development, and general effectiveness of program curricula.
Ensure the effectiveness of all clinical affiliates/clinical education centers is maintained.
Act as a liaison between the clinical agencies and the college maintaining open lines of communication with the Clinical Coordinator.
Maintain and encourage valid evaluation of each student by clinical instructor, department managers, staff sonographers, and students.
Ensure the program is viable and meets the standards of JRC-ERT.
Maintain ARDMS and/or ARRT certification
What were looking for:
Current or former DMS Program Director, Sonography Program Chair, Clinical Coordinator, Director of Clinical Education, or Lead Sonography Instructor
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS, ARDMS) with multiple specialties: Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN), Vascular (RVT), or Adult Echocardiography (RDCS)
Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
Bachelor's degree required; master's degree (MSEd, MHA, or MS) preferred
2+ years of clinical sonography experience and 2+ years of teaching in a CAAHEP-accredited program
Experience with CAAHEP and JRC-DMS accreditation, self-studies, site visits, and annual reports
Experience with curriculum development, competency assessment, scan lab management, and clinical tracking systems (Trajecsys)
Has built clinical affiliations with hospitals and imaging centers
Has improved ARDMS SPI and specialty exam pass rates, retention, and job placement
Experience with program budgeting, faculty hiring, scheduling, and advisory committees
Career college, proprietary school, university, or community college background
Open to relocating to Columbus, OH
